WARN 78950 ProVantage 50" Straight Plow Blade review
The market is saturated with different kinds of innovative plow blades that consumers
usually purchase to remove snow from driveways and streets. But, with so many options to choose from, which one is
the best bet for your four-wheeler?

That is a question I recently asked myself while searching for a plow blade on
the web that could help me push animal feed. The options were endless, but there was one model in particular from
the brand WARN that caught my eye for its high customer ratings: ProVantage 50” Straight Plow Blade.

There were other options that caught my eye, too--but opted to purchase this one, as the
price was unbeatable; it only cost me $167.47, and I received free shipping. Quite a steal! It comes in two
different sizes: 50 inches and 54 inches (I chose this size).
This model is made from thick 12-gauge steel and has a heavy duty ribbing and its boxed
design adds extra support. Also, it has a center mount for added rigidity, tilt and lift protection against curb
damage, and it has coating to keep the blade impeccable. This is definitely a heavy-duty piece that was engineered
to perform well. This plow blade's dimensions are 51.5 x 18.8 x 6.4 inches and weighs 56.2 pounds.
I have already put it to use, so I can tell you that the installation was a breeze. It is
easy to disconnect and connect, as well. However, I had to make some optional modifications to the plastic axle and
the radiator protectors with a pair of metal shears, but other than that, it was perfect and suited all my needs. I
was able to change the angle of it, which is a total plus for the area where I live at which frequently gets
bombarded with severe ice conditions.
The ProVantage 50” Straight Plow Blade is a very solid piece and performs very well. For
this matter, I would highly recommend it to anybody who is in search of a plow blade, as the price is unbeatable,
the quality is extraordinary, and it comes with a one year warranty, which is the perfect excuse to use to try it
